VIDEO, The Demand for the Age Reversing Drug exceeded the demand.

One of the three warehouses in Orlando. The demand still, exceeded the supply.

Author David B. Alexander, losing it.

The first three books are finished. There will probably only be three books, but I have written  eight or ten pages for Longue Duree IV, before I went blank. I started another book called The Repeater, about an old pocket watch that a gemstone dealer bought at auction. I typed about twenty or thirty pages before I went blank. NOW... I am stagnant. The brain needs to Re-Boot.

I reached up, right now, and slowly pushed the tip of my finger against a minuscule flying insect on my computer screen. I felt nothing, as I smashed its life into a cream, and wiped it from the letters beneath it. I wondered if our Creator looks at us with as much affection. As my eyes are getting tired, and my thoughts have begun to wander, I have lost my direction on this page. I must go and sleep.

Meet my jet. Her name is Re-Boot. Well, she's not my jet! I just pay a share of her expenses to use her when I need her. We're flying SE out of E. coast Florida... and that's all I'm say'n! Maybe I'll send you pictures from my laptop. Maybe not!

I have been here for three weeks now. Still not tell'n. It's not on the charts. Planes only land during the day. There are no runway lights. There are a few other people in this hotel, and when they come in from the beach, the router overloads, so I will keep this short. It's the only hotel on the island. There's one undertaker, one marina, one realestate agent, and one restaurant composed of a kitchen, and four telephone poles, with a roof that would never pass code in the US.

An idea for a book hit me while I sat at a pik-nic table. This island is so crazy, all I have to do is listen to the stories. The book in my laptop is called Insomniacs. I wake up every night, about 3 am here, with a crazy idea that I put on the keyboard. I go back to bed about 8 am, and get up when it gets too hot. I'm 347 pages into Insomniacs.

FOR NOW, Go to Amazon and buy my books! Funds are getting low, and that jet is expensive.

Each book begins and ends, without cliffhangers, and contains
adult situations that may offend conservative readers.

Something extra for people reading Longue Durée 1 that is not in the book!

Did you think about this?
In the book, Longue Durée, Extended Life,

Longue Durée, Extended Life, Is my first book as David Alexander. It is book one of a three book set. Every book begins and ends without having to necessarily have read the other books. It would, of course, be much better to have read the proceeding book. The eBook is only $2.99 or FREE if you are on Kindle Unlimited.

I am a Caribbean sailor, traveler, and am Building Yacht interiors in Florida at present. Most of the fictional experiences in these books are not necessarily fictional. Some are obviously products of my warped imagination, but I have a crazy life. For $2.99... give them a try. Book two is due back from the editor any day. She gets mad because she reads five or ten pages and forgot to edit. David

Author David Alexander returns to St. Croix USVI

This is the view this morning from my patio. I sleep well  with the sound of the waves just a hundred feet away. It has been a long time since I stayed ashore on St. Croix. Over the years, we have anchored the sailboat in Christiansted, and only ventured in as far as we could walk. Today I am at sea-level, but used to live on the top of a mountain on the east end, with a view of the north and south shores.

Just like returning to the home you grew up in, everything here, also feels smaller. Yesterday I went into town to see what had changed, and buy a new snorkel. I was amazed at how many shops were not only closed, but stripped to the walls. I talked to several people that had been here most of their lives, and they knew the answers I asked about shops and people that had moved on.

Up and down this boardwalk, and sometimes as far as Gallows Bay, is my normal hang-out space when I am here. This visit, I have an apartment on the NE shore and a rental car.

Driving on the left, kicked back in, almost instantly. I went into town early and found that many of the shops didn't open until noon.

On the internet, I have read about gangs, shootings, and escalated crime. I confirmed that there are such problems, but in my time back on-island, I have only met friendly people, still waving out their window to let me into traffic, and have not yet encountered the resentment that has often been displayed against tourists. I have drove through school bumbler-bumper traffic, tracked down and bought computer supplies, shopped for groceries, and walked all the streets of C'sted and F'sted. I have an advantage over most non-residents, I used to live here and know the areas to avoid. In the past, your best protection was common sense.
This morning, I thought that I would like to see what is left of that house on the mountain. Since the castle was built on the properties above it, it was confusing finding it.

On this trip, I didn't sail, so I rented a suite on the East End. Thanks to email, my editor found me, and sent me the latest manuscript. Knowing it was in my laptop, I couldn't help but review the cuts and alterations. I drive her crazy with ellipses and commas.

There is still something special here on St. Croix. A magic pheromone in the air that slightly alters your DNA... permanently. I escaped here many times when I was in college. I never liked the cold of Cincinnati, Ohio. Four-hundred dollars was a round trip ticket, and I had places to stay for free. Any time life became more then I could handle, I came here. Even when I am sailing, I often end up here. Most of my friends from those years have moved on. I found a few still hanging in there on my 2019 visit. I have lived and worked here, and lost the faith and left the island. Even when I'm 1100 miles away, the pheromones still find me, and call me back.
